Hole in the Mat Heaven

So you like fishing those holes in the matted-over areas? Getting into that heavy cabbage patch area and pitching? Slip on a 5/8 to ½ ounce bullet weight to the snake and start dropping her into those holes. BEWARE when she gets hit hold on tight, some of the best and most aggressive strikes I have had, have come from doing this.

Hawg Hunting Secret, Carolina-style
I have been asked by many when is the best time of year to work the snake. Well the secret is out - YEAR ROUND. That's right you heard it here. Carolina rig this beauty and send her to the depths. Nothing better to set off a SERIOUS strike from that big ole gal in the depths. She sees that snake down there and knows she has herself one easy meal.
